Its so true that MEMORIES behave in a crazy way as they leave u alone in a crowd n stand by u like a crowd whn u r alone....!!!! I always believed in moving on n accepting whatevr comes to me as GOD's gift but this time when i finally bid GOODBYE to kolkata i didnt knew wat was happening to me....i mean it seemed to me as if i was yearning for smthng,i wanted to say smthng,i wanted to hear smthng bt i was unable to undrstand what exactly was that "SMTHNG" until the train started,tears rolled down my cheeks n made me realize that it was the parting which was hurting me sooooooooooooo hardly.Though it wasn't the first time that i was parting from my friends,my relatives yet it was vry hurting coz it was the parting from my loved ones,a parting from my childhood,a parting from the sweet n sour memories of the moments spent in my house..........it actually was a parting from MYSELF:( :(.It was for the first time that i wished it was jst a BAD DREAM which will go away as i wake up knwing the fact of it being a reality.It was for the first time i wished i had an option of rejecting-rejecting what was being given to me,rejecting the flow of time n make it stop,rejecting everythng which was snatching my life from me.At that moment i wished i could be like a demanding small child who demands for the MOON being unaware of the fact that its impossible bt since m nt a kid n knw the fact that no matter whatevr happens "The show must go on".......n so here i m jst writing down wat i scribbled in my diary on 18th feb'09 (the day i bid goodbye to kolkata)

"अलविदा कोलकाता" 
न जाने कितने सवाल है मन में
 जिनके न कोई जवाब है मन में।
 चारो तरफ़ है खुशिया लेकिन
 मुस्कुराने का एक अरमान है मन में।
 मैंने पाया है सब कुछ वहां(jaipur) पे
 फ़िर भी एक तलाश है मन में।
 वो जिसे मैं छोड़ आई हूँ
 उसे पाने का आज भी अरमान है मन में। होठों पे है हँसी पर 
आंसुओं का एक सेलाब है मन में। 
कहीं अपने भी लगे अजनबी मुझे और
 कहीं गैरों के लिए भी प्यार है मन में।
 क्या ये आज सच में कड़वा है या 
बीते हुए कल की ज्यादा मिठास है मन में।
 वो घर,वो शहर,वो लोग अब नहीं मेरे पर उनके लिए एक मीठा सा एहसास है मन में। वो दोस्त हैं मीलों दूर मगर
 उनसे जुड़े दिल के अटूट तार है मन में।
 वो पल जो उनके साथ थे बीते 
उन्हें फ़िर से जीने की एक आस है मन में।
 न जाने कितने सवाल है मन में जिनके
 न अब तक जवाब है मन में........।।

Kam with her creativity, 
Unique style n cool-cool atti.. 
Her BUBBLY enthusiastic nature &
Her way of making others HAPPY;-) 
Its true that ICG is a CAGE 
As people say that it Suck. 
But I believe what brought me to it- 
Was nothing but purely my GOOD LUCK..!! 
Not because its something good &
Put on Someone's head a price

क्यों चले गए आप हमे छोड़कर||

|| ऐसे थे मेरे दादाजी ||

सीधी साधी बातें थी ,बातों में था इक भोलापन 
उनके मुख से कभी किसीने नही सुना कोई कटुवचन| 
दुबले पतले से थे वो और चेहरे पे था एक कडकपन सत्ततर की उम्र थी लेकिन मन में बसा था बचपन||

 ऐसे गुस्सा होते थे वो जैसे हो कोई ज्वाला सा भड़का, 
दूजे ही पल ऐसे हंस देते जैसे कोई शीत लहर का झोंका| 
धुप में भी बाहर चल पड़ते 
जो कभी उनको मिल जाता मोका
 सिर्फ़ खुदकी फ़िक्र न थी उनको ,
थी पुरे समाज की चिंता||

 छुप-छुपकर वो मिठाइयां लाते 
हमारे बहाने ख़ुद भी कुल्फी खाते ,
 पढ़ते-पढ़ते ही वो सो जाते, 
दादी माँ को खूब सताते||

 सुनाते थे किस्से अपने बचपन के,
 शरारतों की अपनी कहानियाँ भी| 
अनजानों से भी ऐसे मिलते - जैसे हो वो अपना कोई||

 ज़माने के साथ चलते थे वो, 
हर चीज़ सिखने की थी चाह भी |
 नए यंत्रों को अपनाया था उन्होंने- 
कहते थे सीखूंगा कंप्यूटर भी||

 ख़बरों का था शौख उन्हें, 
किताबों की भी रूचि थी| 
जब खेला करते थे ludo तब- 
करते थे cheating भी|
 सिर्फ़ दादा जी नही थे वो मेरे 
थे इस घर की रौनक वही||

 रिश्ते तो और भी है मिले मुझको
 पर- वो दुलार कहाँ से पाऊँगी |
 कौन होगा उदास मेरे रूठ जाने पर 
और किससे मैं अपनी बात मनवाऊँगी ||

 सीखी है आपसे दृद निश्चयता मैंने,
 सरलता और हार कभी ना मानना |
 आशीर्वाद आपका संग रहे हमारे 
अबतो बस है यही कामना||

 हँसी,मजाक या अनजाने में

Recession ????

What is recession?

This Story is about a man who once upon a time was selling Hotdogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs. He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more a more raw material and buns and use to sale more. He recruited few more supporting staff to serve more customers. He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove. As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from College, joined his father. Then something strange happened. The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?" The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." The son said, "The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times." The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV. He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colourful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic. He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his hotdog stand. And his sales started coming down rapidly, same is the profit. The father said to his son, "Son, you were right". "We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time." Moral of The Story: It's all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think we do!!!!!!!!!! !! What can we take away from this story?? 1. How many times we confuse intelligence with good judgment? 2. Choose your advisors carefully but use your own judgment 3. A person or an organization will survive forever, if they have the 5 Cs * Character * Commitment * Conviction * Courtesy * Courage The tragedy today is that there are many walking encyclopaedias that are living failures. The More practical and appropriate views on this economic recession is: "This is the time to reunite together for any small or a big organization, this is the time to motivate and retain people which are the biggest asset, this is the time to show more commitments to the customers, this is the time show values of our company to the world, and this is the time to stand by our Nation".

True Love

Everybody in this beautiful world is looking for something i.e. LOVE and that something they say is now a days found no where but my dear friends I think you are wrong B'coz Love is the reason for this world being beautiful,its that thing which makes a difference between the one who is alive n the one who is not dead.It knows no boundaries,no religion n nothing bad.But most of us actually don't know what Love actually is?? or rather we have confused ourselves by taking it as just an antonym for HATE.....But actually to me LOVE is a feeling that brings about a magical change in our lives as it binds PARENTS to their CHILD,a BROTHER to his SISTER,it changes STRANGERS into FRIENDS n so on...LOVE is the only thing in this world which grows n becomes more stronger with time.It knows no depreciation or discounts, Love is not 2 forget but 2 forgive, not 2 c but 2 understand, not 2 hear but 2 listen, not 2 let go but 2 HOLD ON !!!!

BUT

Don't ever leave the one you love for the one you like, because the one you like will leave you for the one they love.. And if you want to identify TRUE LOVE then: Find a guy, who calls you beautiful instead of hot. Who calls you back when you hang up on him. Who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead. Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats. Who holds your hand in front of his friends. Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her."

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. ये कैसी देशभक्ति???

I alwayz believed that life is nothing but a game of perceptions,its(life) not wat it seems to us but its about how we see to it.As we know to some people Gandhi,Bhagat singh,Subash chandra bose,etc were terrorist who tried to remove them from our country but to us they were freedom fighters similarly when evrybody blamed muslims for fighting for Islam n evryone had a question in their mind that why few ppl in Pakistan supports them in conducting such harmful activities of terror,i assured myself by believing that its because these things to them is nothing but a fight for the welfare of their Nation,its their patriotism,their way of paying tribute towards their country...but now after hearing the news regarding the fatwa issued by Taliban i m very disappointed as the innocents who are involved in these activities are still not realising that their fight for freedom is nothing but a way of making terror a synonym for their religion and be so damn powerful that no one could stop them...infact these people dont have any religion n are befooling innocent youths by using them as their pawns in this BLOODY GAME of spreading Terror by playing with the lives of their citizens. I guess the whole world out there must like me be feeling so helpless for the women specially n the citizens there in general who are suffering or rather not having any right even to Breathe without the permission of those ppl who themselves dont have the right to live.I just pray to God to Bless the innocents n provide them the strength to fight against such unfair ppl n their BAD DEEDS n also to punish the defaulters so hard that no one on this earth ever in their DREAMS try to play with the lives of others....AMEN!! -Prerana

Age is nothing but a number

Many of you out there would believe in the statement that "age is nothing but a number" n i don't blame you for it because today there are so many exceptions like warren buffet, L.K.Advani,Amitabh bachchan,Madona,omar abdullah,etc; who can be cited as a proof for your statement moreover we also know it well that if we have the will power and the determination to do anything then nothing can stop us no matter how old or young we be but we also know that exceptions are always there...and I believe that age is more than just a number because there are so many things like experience,wisdom,to an extent perfection n even respect which is considered to be associated with your biological age. It may be sounding harsh but its true that Respect which you may fail to gain even through your wisdom n knowledge,will always and surely be gained through your age.Not only this even When we see the sepia-tinted assertions of our grandparents we may not be able to relate it with the original person who is present in front of us but we still trust that its the same person who with the passage of time n due to his age has physically changed so much.It may sound funny but its a fact that while treating our siblings we try to dominate them by showing that we are more sensible n know more than them and always end an argument by saying that "I M ELDER THAN YOU so you better do what i say n don't argue" and he/she in his/her defending low voice always blame "WHY AM I YOUNGER or rather why there's no one younger than me whom i can scold or order ". There's few more points like in India one is given the right to cast his/her vote only when one turns 18,which is definitely a number but is assumed to be a symbol of maturity as we are tagged as an adult only after attaining that age.Not only this even for obtaining the driving license (no matter how early u have learn to drive) you will be required to cross your teen age.. :P In the present "numbers don't lie" era,even for getting married u need to attain a specific age then how can we say that "AGE IS NOTHING BUT A NUMBER!!!"....??? -Prerana

Positive way of handling Negative situations

To this Arthur Ashe replied: The world over -- 5 crore children start playing tennis, 50 lakh learn to play tennis, 5 lakh learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals, When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD "Why me?". And today in pain I should not be asking GOD "Why me??" So always have faith in Him because He who created us is the one who would look after our survival.

Whats so special in todays morning???

I dont knw whats new in todays morning but I feel "kuch khaas hai,kuch baat hai,ek ajnabee ehsas hai"-chill coz watevr u r thinking its not dat.actually today is my result day n i knw dat my result is not going to b so gr8 dat i m feeling so victorious but still this is a special day...it must be sounding wierd but i really dnt have words to describe my feelings today.I m feeling as if its my reincarnation-now dats sumthing which to u must seem vry vry silly but sorry cant help it......!!! so here in my next post i m telling u rather describing to u how amazing a cold morning or todays morning was:

सर्दी के मोसम में सुबह जब आए !!!

सर्दी के मोसम में सुबह जब आए संग मिल पत्तो के हवा जो लहराए झूमे जग सारा और पेड़ गुनगुनाये सूरज की वो पहली किरण जो नज़र आए फूलो पे ओस की बुँदे तारो सी जगमगाए के पंछी भी संग उनके कुछ यूँ चेह्चहाये ना जाने वो हमसे क्या कहना चाहे?? सर्दी के मोसम में सुबह जब आए खुली आँखों को भी सपने ये दिखाए आशाओ के पंख मन में लगाये जैसे उड़ने को सारा आसमान मिल जाए तो क्यों ना इसे कुछ यूँ जिया जाए के- बिता हुआ कल भी "याद" बन जाए और आने वाला हर पल तेरे गीत गाये सर्दी के मोसम में सुबह जब आए शायद वो हमसे यही कहना चाहे|| So,alwayz remember this: Laugh so hard that even sorrow Smiles at you 'N' Live Life so well that even Death loves to see you!!! ~@~Prerana~@~

A Friend who has gone...:(:(:(

Its true that it hurts to say GOODBYE but- its better to go when your EGO grows BIG n its hard to say HI. A FRIEND who once was- my all time season of SMILE has now changed & became a REASON for my CRY. At the times of glum- when I was too sad He was the one who made me Merry and Glad; The one who helped me n boosted my confidence in myself; He was the one who listened to things No matter how silly I tell. I hate his temper and- his attitude of being shrewd; His being straightforward to others- to the extent of sounding rude. I am THANKFUL to him not only for teaching me how to call the shots but for being a TRUE MENTOR as- he taught me things which he himself knows not. He taught me not only to share and make others a FOOL:) But also in times of adversities he taught me how to KEEP MY COOL. I laughed,I enjoyed even bored him a lot He teased,he irritated n pulled my legs the most; But now things have changed- like we had never thought. Time has turned the tables and we are at the opposite shore; God with his magic wand has destined us not to be FRIENDS anymore!!! ~@~Prerana~@~

CMs to be elected 4m a CEOs view....!!!!

POLITICS-nowadays has become a synonym for "dirty work" but this is through which our country works!!!strange to think but its a fact,isn't it??we always say that the politicians are corrupt,they dont do anything for the nation,they encourage bribery n under table work.....but have we ever thought that how do they get selected.....i mean blaming sumone is easy but its hard to take those blames.....aghast!!!! r u ???then my advice to you is dont be...!!! coz afterall its us who vote for the person out there.n if you say that i didnt voted n try to escape from being blamed then you are to be blamed first coz its b'coz of you,who didnt vote that such a wrong person is being selected. A most common point due to which we say dat our politicians are not suitable enough to run our nation is their qualification......!!!we alwayz raise a finger on dem saying most of them are uneducated or not qualified enough to run a nation den my question to you is will you after becoming an engineer or doctor or a CA or getting an MBA degree,attaining wisdom stand for some elections......??? your answer to dis is an obvious NO den in dat case i think we should be grateful to our politicians who show so much courage to come forward n make an attempt to manage the nation while the so called educated section is busy in making moolahs.Its a harsh truth but the fact is dat it is a TRUTH n considering this i have thought of an idea which probably will improve d status of politics in INDIA or may be our faith in the politicians. According to me politics should be made a profession in our country where growth in population is more certain than the growth in economy.hey i m not kidding its serious.Imagine the credibility we will have on our politicians after they will be given a certificate to be so.The person after getting the right to stand for election should be given a six months or a years training regarding his/her duties n responsibility towards the nation n its people by undergoing various stages n then the person whosoever does better n performs outstanding during his/her training should be recruited to the posts as a prime minister,president,etc.respectively..this will certainly help us in getting a better person elected n will definitely increase our faith in that person as in an era of diplomas n degrees none can question the credibility of a nationally certified person...!!! -Prerana
